The revitalization of the Musi river was a Blue-Green Masterplan that places people and governance at the heart of planning. The design involved Channel Development - Course correction , including River Cleaning, Bank Stabilisation, Re-sectioning and Sewage interception & treatment/ Remedial Landscape, public landscape, including civic amenities, plazas etc/ Pedestrian and cycling bridges/Heritage Conservation. The proposed design intervention also had a  green bridge, trails, public plazas, museums, monitoring station and a site office.
