Designed with a classical influence, GBP City Central is a mixed-use development which masterfully combines live, work and play. The front portion of the complex has a unique 'Open Mall', whose architecture harks back to the Roman and Greek times. Behind the mall, are three residential towers whose elliptical form is unique for this region. Abundant landscaping compliments the architecture of this complex, thereby making GBP City Central a fitting icon for this rapidly developing town near Chandigarh.
We arrived at the elliptical form of the residential towers in our quest to design apartments with uninterrupted views. With a curved form, there is no beginning and no end, thereby ensuring views for every room of the apartment, irrespective of whether it is a 2BHK or a 3BHK. Curved spaces are also more organic, thereby facilitating a stress-free lifestyle.
Thoughtful space-making ensures that two vastly different building typologies can successfully co-exist in the same plot. The Mall is welcoming to residents and tourists, buzzing with energy at all times of the day. Simultaneously, the residential portion is serene and secluded through the effective use of landscaping.
